Juan De Armas

Juan de Armas began his career as a costume designer working with the comedy troupe, Artificial Intelligence. He debuted his costumes with their show, A Very Vicki Christmas, in 1988 and has been steadily working in live theater, TV, film and virtual programming since that time. Special theatrical projects include, the original Off Broadway production of Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding (and many touring companies), Hallmark’s live presentation of Kenny Rogers’ “Christmas From the Heart”, Sheila’s Class Reunion (Kansas City), Aunt Chooch’s Birthday (Off Broadway), Blessing in Disguise (Off Broadway) and one of this favorite experiences was working with Santa Loquasto, as his assistant, on the original production of Neil Simon’s “Jake’s Women” in Los Angeles. 
 
For TV, his designs have been seen on Billy Crystal’s Sessions, for HBO starring Elliot Gould and Rob Reiner’s Morton and Hayes starring Kevin Pollack for CBS, both shows for Castle Rock Productions. Mr. De Armas is the resident costume designer for Virtual Arts Productions.
